Get a Straighter, More Even Smile
Misaligned or crooked teeth can affect the appearance of your smile and cause damage to your other teeth or chronic jaw pain. Orthodontic treatment repositions your teeth to give you a straighter, healthier smile.
Metal Braces
Metal braces use wires and brackets to gently move your teeth into their correct positions. Treatment with braces takes around two years, depending on how much your teeth need to be repositioned and how quickly they move into their new positions. Your dentist will check your progress and adjust your braces every month to ensure they are working correctly.
Book NowInvisalign® Clear Aligners
Invisalign® clear aligners work like braces, but instead of wires and brackets, they use clear plastic aligners to reposition your teeth. The aligners are made of clear material that is almost invisible when you wear them, and you can remove the aligners when you eat or brush your teeth. You will need to see your dentist regularly to check your progress and get a new set of aligners. Like braces, Invisalign treatment takes around two years.
Frequently Asked Question
Will I need to wear a retainer?
Your dentist may recommend that you wear a retainer after your orthodontic treatment to hold your teeth in place as they adjust to their new positions.
Can I change the color of my elastic bands?
Yes! Elastics come in a rainbow of colors, and you can get a new set of elastics every time you go to your dentist for a checkup.
Do braces hurt?
Your teeth might hurt for a while after your dentist adjusts your braces every month. Ask your dentist if pain medication can help.
What if I break a bracket, or a wire or elastic comes off?
If this happens, call your dentist right away. If the wire or broken bracket is poking the inside of your mouth, you can cover the sharp parts with orthodontic wax (from your dentist or the drugstore).
